| From Edenfire.com Newsroom Around The Station The Eden Volunteers would like to take this time to reconize the achievments of Cole Bachman and the Mountville Indians youth baseball. Cole, the son of Firefighter Eric Bachman, recently attended a national youth baseball tournament in Cooperstown NY.
During the tournament, the Indians faced fierce competition from across the country. Cole and his team finished the week-long tournament 43rd out of 104 teams! In addition, Mountville had the 11th fastest "Around the horn" time in the team skills competition. To finish out the week, Cole was inducted into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.
The week long tournament did not come without some significant costs for Cole and his family to attend the event. With this said, The Brotherhood at Eden assisted with a company donation as well as individual contributions from a boot fund to offset costs. Eric, Cole and Family would like to thank the company for their "generous sponsorship and support both financially and in thought."
