After over a week of being out of service, Truck 24 returned this afternoon. Within an hour, the Truck Company was dispatched to assist Station 311(Upper Leacock). Units were sent to Snake Hill Rd and Quarry Rd, just outside the first due, for a reported water rescue.

Low-head Dam on the Conestoga

LCWC reported that a canoe with two occupants had gone over a low-head dam on the conestoga river and that the boaters did not surface. Truck 24 arrived in the area with Deputy 311 and EMS. Within minutes of searching, the boaters were located out of the water in the 200 Block of Bushong Rd. The truck crew evaluated the patients prior to the arrival of Ambulance 38-1 and Medic 3. Truck 24 was released shortly after.
