This 2008 Annual report has been released by LCWC(911). In the report Eden Fire Company was listed as the busiest volunteer department in Lancaster County. The total number of fire incidents in 2008 was 761. This is down 7 calls from 2007.
The New & the Old- One Last Time
Engine 24-1 was listed as the 3rd busiest engine company with 420 calls. Truck 24(Rescue) was the eighth busiest rescue company with 209 calls. Truck 24(Ladder) was the 3rd busiest truck company with 355 calls for service. Truck 24 was the busiest volunteer fire unit in 2008 with a total of 564 calls for service.
QRS 24 was dispatched to assist area EMS providers for a total of 502 calls. These calls are in addition to the 761 fire responses.
