Eden Volunteer Graduates Career Academy

On Friday November 24th, FF/EMT Chris Mowry graduated from the 40th HACC Fire Academy. This past summer Chris was hired as a career firefighter for Manchester Township Department of Fire Services in York County.

Chris, along with several other new hires from Manchester, York United and Washington City, completed the grueling 12 week academy. During their the academy the recruits focused on Fire, Rescue, EMS and Physical Training.

Chris successfully completed the 12 weeks and also earned the Outstanding Firefighter Award at graduation. With his graduation he has become one of several Live-Ins to be hired within the last two years. Unfortunately, due to a residency requirement, Chris has moved out but, continues his time as an active member.
