Duty Crew Member Leaves for Iraq

Earlier this month, Duty Crew member Brett Hamm served his final duty time prior to leaving for Iraq. He is currently on assignment with the 193rd Special Operations Wing of the Air National Guard.

"The 193rd Special Operations Wing is part of the Air Force Special Operations Command and retains its mission of Psychological Operations as it supports exercises and operations all over the world. The Wing is responsible for over 1,800 military and civilian personnel in 28 subordinate groups, squadrons and flights. The 193rd SOW provides trained men and women to perform the Psychological Operations missions, flying the EC-130 Commando Solo aircraft."

During his last duty time, Brett and several members enjoyed lunch and took in a few runs. Brett is an active part of our Duty Crew program. He serves beyond the required hours every month and fills in on light week-days. In addditon to serving at Eden, He is the Deputy Chief for Fire Department Mount Joy(Station 7-5). FF Hamm hopes to be back in time for the members appreciation banquet in January. The members of Eden would like to wish Brett a safe deployment overseas. Stay safe Brother, we'll see you soon!
