Early in the morning of August 14th motorcycles from across the area and some from out of state met at the K-Mart on Fruitville Pike.

The gathering was not a bike show, but the begining of a memorial motorcycle ride in honor of those who lost their lives on September 11th 2001. Over 100 bikes lined up to begin the trip from Lancaster to the crash site of Flight 93, continue on to the Pentagon in Washington DC , and finishing the ride at Ground Zero in New York City. Over the trip numerous bikes will meet with the group growing to an estimated 800+ bikes. The ride will not stop except to sleep and eat and will ride regardless of the weather.

The purpose of the ride is to keep the memory alive of what happened that day and to assist the families of those involved. We here at Eden want to extend a thank you to Skip George the Organizer of the event for helping keep the memory of the 343 lost brothers alive. Also for the honor of allowing Truck 24 to escort the group through Manheim Township. Skip and his wife, residents of Manheim Township have no direct link to the attacks however feel as citizens of the United States something should be done to keep the memory alive.
