Two On Lincoln Highway East

On Thursday and Saturday Evenings, Truck 24 was due to Lincoln Highway East for reported building fires. At both locations Eden was the second due truck company assisting Lafayette(Sta 6-3).

Truck 24 & Engine 633


The first run was for smoke reported on the first and third floor of the Quality Inn at 2250 Lincoln Hwy E. Truck 24 positioned on side alpha behind Engine 633 and assisted crews searching for a source. With nothing found, units were placed available.

Truck 24 on the charlie side



Truck 24 returned to Lincoln Hwy on Saturday evening. This time units responded to 2090 Lincoln Hwy E. for a reported commercial fire at Burlington Coat Factory. Truck 24 was second arriving and took the charlie side while the tower positioned on the alpha side. Truck 24 checked the roof and assisted inside. Units found a burnt-up battery and electrical components in a rear mechanical room.
