Early Saturday morning, County 911 dispatched the first alarm dwelling assignment for Wythe Circle. First arriving units reported a fully-involved structure and quickly requested the 2nd alarm. Upon their arrival there was a report of an unaccounted occupant. Due to the extent and progress of the fire, units were limited to defensive exterior operations only.

Truck 24 arrived on the second alarm. Crews operated for over five hours prior to being released. During the extensive overhaul process and investigation the missing occupant was located within the remains of the house.
