Busy End to the Work Week

The end of the week proves very busy for the 24 House. Calls for service included several accidents, a few involving roll-overs, one fatality on 222 and an extrication on Oregon Pike.

On April 17th @ 23:05 Hours, Truck 24 responded to Rt 222N @ Oregon Pike for a single vehicle roll-over. Crews arrived with one vehicle on its side and one patient partially ejected. Crews provided patient care and assisted the medic unit with transport. The truck company provided lighting for the accident reconstruction for several hours. Truck 24 cleared around 0330Hours. The patient later succumbed to their injuries.

In all, between Thursday morning and Friday evening, crews responded to 7 medical locals(one fly-out), 3 class one MVAs, 2 class two MVAs, 2 MVAs with entrapment(One fatality and one extrication), 2 automatic alarms, 2 controlled burns and finally one Fire activity(extrication demo @ CV Middle School)

Well deserved rest at 3 A.M.
