On Friday morning Truck 24 was dispatched to assist Station 211(So. Manheim Twp.) on a vehicle accident with entrapment. Chief 20 arrived onscene shortly after dispatch confirming two vehicle accident with one occupant trapped.

Truck 24 and Rescue 211 arrived and went to work stabilizing the vehicle. The Truck company placed both hydraulic cutters and a spreader into service along with Rescue 211s compliment. Crews removed the roof and performed a full passenger side removal to provide for the extrication.
With both units operating together the patient was extricated and packaged in just over 10 minutes from arrival.
