Early this morning crews loaded up Engine 241 and Squad 24 to attend the benefit breakfast at Neffsville Station 27 for the 9 Charleston FF's that were killed earlier in the month. Money raised from this benefit was donated to a fund to assist the familes of the fallen firefighters. The breakfast was a hit and took in around 5,000 dollars with over 600 people in attendance. Crews from 24 stood by to cover for 27 and even helped a little when things got busy with cooking and serving. A great time was had by all for this great cause, and the members of Eden would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of the 9 brothers killed in the line of duty in South Carolina. Fantastic job to 27 on the breakfast!
