Who said ever said that once you hit 50, you are over the hill. The August Firefighter of the Month through his heart and determination has defied those odds and was able to achieve his personal goal of getting qualified to drive Truck 24. I personally can still remember that day as if it were yesterday, as Joey B walked in to the lounge and the room lit up instantly as he was grinning from ear to ear so proud of his accomplishment. JB you are not alone as the Line Officers as well as the entire membership are proud of you, and feel you are truly deserving of this honor and eagerly look forward to your future accomplishments.
