At 14:33 hours on Saturday, Engine 24-1 was dispatched to route 222 south in the area of Landis Valley Rd for a reported brush fire. Police arrived on scene first advising a working brush fire.

Engine 24-1 gained a visual prior to arrival on scene while traveling north bound and advised LCWC to upgrade the assignment due to the size of the brush fire and the high heat during the middle of the day. Engine 313-1, Engine 211-3, Tanker 313, and Tanker 27 were added.

Chief 313-2 arrived just prior to Engine 24-1 and established Command, advising that the additional units may access the scene via the Calvary Church parking lot.

Crews operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes completing extinguishment, ensuring there were no remaining hot-spots, and investigating the fire.

Traffic 313 was also on scene to provide traffic control.
