Early Morning Extrication on Landis Valley Rd

Early this morning Truck 2-4 and Rescue 2-11 were dispatched to the 1200 block of Landis Valley Rd for a vehicle accident with possible entrapment.Upon response, crews received additional info from LCWC reporting one vehicle into a tree with one occupant still in the vehicle.

Medic 2-13-1 arrived on scene, confirming the driver was still in the vehicle, confirming the location being the 1200 block of Landis Valley Rd.

Crews start drivers door removal.



Truck 2-4 stabilized the vehicle and removed the driver’s side door to provide access to the patient. Both the 2-4 and 2-11 crews then assisted EMS with patient care and packaging. Medic 2-13-1 transported the patient.

Crews cleared the scene in less than 30 minutes.

Crews complete removal of drivers door.
