Lancaster County-Wide Communications provided an approximate location based on cell phone GPS. Responding crews were later advised that the group of canoes would be traveling down the Conestoga with the patient to a better access point. The patient was retrieved from the river at the Hunsicker Road covered bridge and transported to a local hospital.
