Gas Leak at Westminster

Around 1300 Hours, Station 24 and Engine 27-1(Neffsville) responded to Westminster Presbyterian Church for a gas leak. Engine 24-1, Truck 24 and Deputy 24 arrived with an active leak from the gas service meter. It was determined that a large section of ice had fallen from the roof and sheared the meter off.

The engine crew secured the gas service to the building. The truck company monitored the building and provided ventilation. Crews cleared within 30 minutes.
