Fatal Accident on Route 222

Tonight member’s from all three township stations attended a seminar on the line-of-duty-death(LODD) of Prince William County, VA Firefighter/Technician Kyle Wilson. During the presentation, Truck 24 was alerted to a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Rt 222 North.

As VOLUNTEER Truck 24 went responding additional was given of one patient, on the ground and unresponsive. Medic 2-13-1 arrived on scene first and advised of a Priority 4 patient. Deputy 2-4 arrived, requesting traffic units from 3-13 and 2-10 to close down access to 222 North. The Truck crew remained on scene for about an hour, assisting PD as needed. 222 North remained closed for the police investigation until around midnight.

Crew members then returned to the Barn at Overlook Park for the last hour and a half of the seminar. Much thanks to Prince William County and all those who set up this training event.
