Around 0228 Hours this morning Rescue-Engine 63-1(Lafayette) and EMS responded to the 100Blk of Greenfield Rd for a vehicle accident reported with entrapment. Engine 63-1 and Chief 63(Nolt) arrived onscene with an SUV into a tree with one patient pinned in the vehicle.
Truck 24 post extrication
Command 63 requested an additional rescue adding Truck 24 to the assignment. The Truck arrived onscene and placed several rescue tools inservice to assist with operations. Crews from both departments worked quickly to remove the roof, perform dual side removals and push the dash. The patient was freed within 15 minutes and transported by EMS.
