Engine 2-4-1
Engine 24-1 is a 1997 Pierce Lance pumper. This unit provides
significant advantages over the 1975 Mack/Swab it replaced:
- Longer hose lines at commercial and apartment complexes where the building
is 100 feet or more from the roadway
- 600 feet of additional supply hose for non-hydranted areas, highway and
industrial complexes
- multiple large caliber attack lines (2 1/2" hose or larger)
- additional compartment space using a 'rescue-body' configuration for support
equipment
